She’s an inspiration to us all!
Kim Kardashian West may have caught everyone’s attention in her ultra-revealing gown at Monday night’s Met Gala, but she actually says we owe all thanks to someone else.
Apparently, Kim was inspired by the one-and-only Cher during her first Met Gala! Not Beyoncé?? LOLz!
But we totally see the similarities!
Kim shared her inspiration on Instagram on Monday, saying:
“Tonight’s inspiration! Cher at the 1st ever Met Gala! I just met her and told her this photo was my inspiration for my dress tonight! She is so beautiful! So happy I met her!”
We never thought Kim would be a Cher fan — but then again, who isn’t!?
Although, we’re not positive Kim’s math is 100% correct seeing as Cher wasn’t old enough to attend the first Met Gala, but still, it’s a nice sentiment.
We wonder how long it’s going to be until Kim is someone’s inspiration for a Met dress?
