Metta World Peace Says He Got Into An Argument With His Teammate Over Pasta!

metta world peace says argument with kenyon martin was sparked by pasta
To say things are bad for the New York Knicks right now would be a HUGE understatement as the team recently fell to 3-13 and it looks like head coach Mike Woodson‘s job might be on the line!
But somehow the situation got even worse this weekend when forward Metta World Peace reportedly got into a VERY heated argument with his teammate Kenyon Martin!
So what were the two big men fighting about? Was someone not pulling their weight on the court? Were they just frustrated by the horrible start they’re off too? Did someone say something about the other one’s momma??
Well Metta opened up about their debate, and it probably wasn’t about what you’re thinking:

“We were eating pasta. He had elbow pasta, I had shell pasta, and I told him how my shell pasta is better than his elbow pasta. And he was pretty upset about that. He loves elbow pasta, but I disagree, I think shell pasta is better. I don’t care. I will stand by that. Shell pasta.”

Well that makes total sense! Oh, wait. No it doesn’t AT ALL!!!
Kenyon insists there was never an argument in the first place, and even Metta took to Twitter to say it’s all good in the neighborhood!
The quirky forward is known to have an, um, interesting sense of humor (keep in mind that he changed his name to Metta World Peace), and scrums in the locker room are actually pretty common in all sports!
But if it IS true, hopefully these two can put their love of pasta aside for a little bit and focus on winning some games!
