Metta World Peace hates roaches so much that he’ll take any opportunity to share his distaste for the insect — even if you ask him about road trips!
After mistakenly hearing a reporter ask what his favorite thing about “roaches” is, the Los Angeles Laker revealed he does NOT like them. Apparently, he had a few too many run-ins with the creepy crawlies during his childhood in New York because they made themselves “comfortable” in his home.
Yuck! Nobody likes cockroaches in their house, but as he continues, it starts to sound like he actually has more of a love/hate relationship with the six-legged creatures, saying:
“They’re friends. I like roaches. I mean, I don’t want to be around them. I want to leave them where they’re at, but yeah, I know them.”
