It was quite a shock when the Lakers fired their head coach, Mike Brown. Not everyone is upset about it, and it sounds like Mike shouldn’t really be either — according to Metta World Peace!
He says that even though he got fired, the deal was pretty sweet. Here’s what he said:
“That’s a nice check man … he got $11 million … great career, still young … he’s gonna have more jobs and more opportunities to coach. I played for him for years in Indiana … so Mike Brown, he’s dope … shout out to Mike Brown.”
Not toooooo bad!
Metta then went on to deny that Kobe had anything to do with the firing. We’re not so sure about that, though!
Yeah, we’re pretty sure Mike will be just fine.
