No chance of a reunion here! Not that anyone really expected one at this point.
It’s been over a year since they separated, and horror queen Mia Goth has decided to make it official.
TMZ confirms the actress filed for divorce from fellow actor Shia LaBeouf in Los Angeles on Tuesday, citing “irreconcilable differences,” requesting no spousal support for either party.
She’s also seeking primary custody of their 4-year-old daughter, Isabel.
Back in February, a source opened up to People magazine about their split, explaining:
“Their relationship has always been complicated. They weren’t getting along and had a lot of drama last year. She loves him, but she also doesn’t need him. She’s very independent. She has her own life, her own career and her priority is their daughter.”
The official separation date is listed as July 28, 2025. They were married in 2016.
After they separated, Shia moved to New Orleans, where his struggles unfortunately continued. He was arrested during Mardi Gras following some wild partying. Then he got arrested again not long after the initial detainment.

In a subsequent interview with Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan, he admitted to feeling like he failed Mia in their marriage:
“I feel like it’s not new heartbreak. You know, it’s heartbreak. I don’t want to talk too much about it. It’s not my story alone to tell, but my side is, you know, I failed my marriage and so I had to own up to that.”
He opened more about the state of things, further explaining:
“We were deeply unhappy. I made a lot of mistakes early on before we tried to have a baby. I had violated trust in a big, big way. We tried … to fix it, and it was impossible, and we both became very unhappy. And it’s not good to be unhappy around a baby. It’s not good to be unhappy around kids. But it’s important to be proximate. You must be around. And this became quite a weird Tetris.”
But ultimately he still wanted the world to know he had nothing but love for her:
“That’s a good girl. That’s one of the best girls that ever lived. She’s incredible, that woman. Incredible … all the time. 10 out of 10.”

No word yet on how he’ll respond to the divorce petition, but we’ll definitely keep you updated as more information becomes available.
