Michael B. Jordan Drops Some Dating Knowledge & Talks About His Own Experiences With Women!

When it comes to dating, Michael B. Jordan is a self-proclaimed dating expert!
Okay, okay, he technically didn’t say that, but baby needs to be well-versed in women since he was in That Awkward Moment, right?!
Well, this acknowledgement from the up-and-coming actor will definitely surprise you because we would have never guessed it!
When asked how he got into character for this part, Michael answered with a resounding shocker! He said:

It was crazy, because when I shot the film, I’d never had a real girlfriend before. I literally met my now-ex-girlfriend the day I got back from filming, almost a year ago today. And that was the first time I’ve ever worked to make a relationship work out — you know, really put in the [effort]. And it’s not easy. I think the character taught me a lot about relationships: Sometimes you gotta work through the hard stuff and sometimes two people grow apart, and that’s the harsh reality, that’s what love is sometimes … knowing when it’s time to let something go, just realizing something’s not working.

Um, can you believe?! Because we can’t!
Michael not having a real girlfriend before he filmed That Awkward Moment?! Inconceivable!!
Luckily for him, his role as Mikey taught him a lot about relationships. He definitely sounds wise beyond his years!
The Fruitvale Station actor continued to speak about his dating experience, like the surprising revelation he had when he first cooked for his date:

I have. When I first moved to L.A., when I was like 19, 20, 21, that was a thing: “Okay, cool [claps his hands together]: I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to cook dinner, she├óΓé¼Γäós going to think it├óΓé¼Γäós phenomenal, it├óΓé¼Γäós gonna be amazing, that├óΓé¼Γäós gonna be my move.” And then I was like, “Whoa.” That came with so much baggage and the expectations. Everything you do, you guys are interpreting in a different way! Like, another thing: I like to go out to dinner a lot. I love going out to eat. I love food. I love going to restaurants. And sometimes I don├óΓé¼Γäót like going alone, so I would take somebody to go to dinner. It doesn├óΓé¼Γäót necessarily mean this is the start of a thing ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I just like to go to dinner and you├óΓé¼Γäóre kind of cool to talk to. But a woman sees it as, Oh, he├óΓé¼Γäós taking me out to dinner.

There you have it ladies! An inside look to a man’s mind. Just because he takes you out to dinner doesn’t mean it’s anything serious!
Is it just us or do both sexes just need to lay out the ground rules for everything before they hang out together?
LOLz!
