Maybe they just can’t fight a love like theirs!
On Tuesday night, Dexter stars and former spouses Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter were spotted having dinner at Beverly Hill├óΓé¼Γäós Peninsula Hotel. Considering that the pair abruptly ended their two year marriage last year after Michael was reportedly cheating with Julia Stiles, it was surprising to see the pair looking so … friendly!
Okay, much more than friendly. An eyewitness at the restaurant recalls the scene of their “romantic setting,” as they sat at a “dimly lit corner table, sipping wine.” Then, the spy added:
├óΓé¼┼ôWhen Jennifer got up to use the ladies, Michael squeezed her hand, looked up at her and she smiled. And when she got back, they held hands on the table for a bit. At one point, Michael leaned across the table and he and Jennifer kissed — a make-out kind of kiss, not a friendly one. They both looked really happy.├óΓé¼┬¥
You know, it’s been a rough past year for them both, between his Hodgkin’s lymphoma and his affair, but maybe all the pain and heartache has finally led them to a better place.
Here’s hoping they have worked their issues out.
