Michael Clarke Duncan Mourned By Fans At Public Viewing, Green Mile Screening

Already a week has gone by since his passing, but many are still reeling in shock.
The world remembered Michael Clarke Duncan fondly on Sunday, at a public memorial in El Lay.
His fans paid tribute to the award-winning actor with a slide-show, a five minute eulogy, and a tear-riddled screening of his most critically successful film, The Green Mile.
Endearingly referred to as Big Mike by friends and co-stars, he worked much of his life as a manual laborer and then a bodyguard to celebrities before Notorious B.I.G., one of his clients, was gunned down and killed in 1997.
MCD left that dangerous line of work and soon caught a break auditioning for a role in Michael Bay‘s Armageddon. He never ever looked back.
There will be a private viewing on Monday for his family and closest friends.
Michael died September 3 after spending two months in the hospital following a massive heart-attack.
He continues to be missed.
