Michael Douglas has had a tough past few years. From being sued by his ex wife, to his son being in federal prison, to him being diagnosed with throat cancer, it seems like he can’t really catch a break.
So, despite hearing about Catherine Zeta Jones checking into a facility because of Bipolar Disorder, it’s wonderful to see him looking at the positive side of things regardless of all that has happened. Michael is proud of Catherine for her courage to seek help.
He was upset, however, that she was “outed” during her tough time, and spoke about it on Oprah:
“She was outed. It takes a lot of courage to seek help and I am proud of Catherine for doing something positive about her situation. It’s onwards and upwards for us.”
It’s wonderful to seem him support her through this tough time, and we’re glad that he did end up beating his cancer.
It might have been and rough patch, but we feel things will get significantly better for him as he gets back to work and starts churning out more amazing movies!
