Rumors circulating about Michael Douglas’ health have been grim at best, but in a recent interview he reveals that although he still has a tough road ahead, he is doing well.
Counter to what many tabloids are reporting, the interviewer describes Michael as “fully alive, alert, deeply intelligent and in person nothing whatsoever like the haggard figure that graces the National Enquirer and its kin.”
That being said, Douglas is going through the incredibly difficult process of chemo, which is a struggle for anyone:
“The level of chemo, the amount they’re giving you, combined with radiation, was the max they could do in that period of time. It’s amazing that they almost have to try and kill you to bring you back.”
Amazingly, Michael has maintained an upbeat attitude about the entire process, and has gained perspective along the way:
├óΓé¼┼ôAfter all the adversity I├óΓé¼Γäóve had this year, with my health and my son├óΓé¼Γäós incarceration, my ex-wife and the lawsuit — to be able to sit here and talk to you, I├óΓé¼Γäóm so happy.├óΓé¼┬¥
So inspirational!!
