Michael Douglas is a happy father!
But it was a long road getting a poppa’s peace of mind; as you may recall, Cameron Douglas, son of Michael and first wife Diandra Luker, only just got out of prison in 2016.
After being sentenced in 2010 to 5 years for drug possession and distribution, he got even more time after being caught selling to other inmates.

But now he’s out and making Michael proud. The Ant-Man And The Wasp star opened up to The Radio Times this week about waking up from the “nightmare” that was his son’s drug ordeal, saying:
“My son’s struggle was a nightmare. It was stressful for all involved, very painful and difficult. I’m happy to say he’s in wonderful shape now. He’s been out of federal prison a year and a half and he’s actively pursuing his career.”
That career? The family business of course: acting! He doesn’t have any features lined up as of yet, but he has a short out called Dead Layer.
He has been creative in another avenue — he and girlfriend Viviane Thibes welcomed a daughter named Lua in December. Or as Michael put it, “he made me a grandfather.”
