Arguably one of the most famous tragedies ever written, Macbeth has been retold and retold TONS of times already! Well now Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard will be taking a crack at the story, and this is NOT the same version you read in class!
Instead of focusing on the paranoia and mental anguish the titular character goes through in the book, this trailer is filled with epic battle sequences that look like they were lifted straight from Game Of Thrones!

Shakespeare movies have been a bit of a mixed bag in the past with varying success, and if we’re being honest we DEFINITELY could have used a little more Lady Macbeth action in the trailer!
C’mon, people! We all know she’s the REAL star of the show!!!
