But that’s to be expected. Their inheriting EVERYTHING from their father’s legacy.
There are some celebrities who are no longer with us who ironically have made more dead than they have alive. People like Marilyn Monroe, Albert Einstein and Elvis all rank in Forbes Top-Earning Dead Celebrities, which was released this week, but most of their money goes to “companied” who handle them as a brand. Think Lisa Marie Pressley has ever seen a dime of her father’s fortunes in the last few decades? Not a cent!
Seems Michael Jackson knew that his was the case with many celebs and had the foresight to have his post-mordem money to be handled by the people he loved most: his children.
And those kids stand to collect a lot as Michael topped the dead celebs earning list, bringing in a $170 million to be divided amongst his brood (and subsequently, his estate.)
Here’s hoping those kids do something really important with all that money. Something that would make their father proud.
