We’re sure this is not what Michael would have wanted. We wish his surviving family could find a way to get along.
There seems to be some confusion of who exactly owns Michael Jackson’s house. Not his estate, mind you, but the actual house he used to reside in. At present, Alejandra Jackson, baby mama of Randy and Jermaine, is living there with her kids. However, Katherine Jackson wants her out, so the MJ lawyers are looking into ways to evict. The simplest way seems to be to ask the rightful owner of the property to force her out. That, as it so happens, is not Katherine.
According to new legal documents, the property was jointly owned by Michael and his sister, La Toya Jackson. As he did not leave any specific instructions in his will to state otherwise, interest in the house immediately goes to her. Therefore, it is La Toya who must decide whether or not to kick Alejandra and the kids out or not.
There’s a hearing slated for this morning to work out the details. We’ll know more about it then.
If it was just Alejandra, we’d understand the concern, but the kids…we just feel bad for them, caught up in all this bad blood between the Jackson adults. Shame.
