Michael Jackson‘s cause of death has been officially ruled as a homicide and has been changed on the King of Pop’s death certificate.
The documentation now reads that Jackson died from “acute Propofol intoxication” by “intravenous injection of another.”
Dr. Conrad Murray is still expected to be charged with manslaughter and prosecuted for “gross negligence.” Murray’s lawyer has stated that the doctor has no comment and that he did not prescribe or administer anything that should have killed MJ.
But it did!
To prove the charge of involuntary manslaughter, the authorities need to show that there was reckless action that could cause a risk of death or bodily injury. The district attorney is currently waiting for the LAPD to turn the case over to present to a grand jury.
The police are lining up medical expert witnesses to testify at the eventual trial about the standard protocol for the care of someone in a situation similar to Michael Jackson and how Murray’s actions are considered “gross negligence.”
It sure doesn’t sound like he’s going to get away with this!
