Michael Phelps advanced to the next round of the U.S. Olympic swim trials on Tuesday — and his seven-week-old son Boomer was front row and center for the whole thing!
Wearing a onesie that read “Team Daddy,” the little tot was held in momma Nicole Johnson‘s arms as they cheered on their leading man.
And it all paid off!

The swimmer won his preliminary heat of the 200-meter butterfly in just 1 minute, 56.68 seconds. He was 0.22 of a second ahead of the first runner up. Boy is back!!!
On Wednesday, the 30-year-old hopes to secure a spot on his fifth Olympic team for the Rio games — which would make him the first U.S. man to do so.
