Michael Sam’s Dad Admits To Being Upset After His Son Comes Out As Gay! Read His Appalling Comments HERE!

College football star and NFL draft hopeful Michael Sam has been getting so much support after coming out as gay this week.

From the First Lady Michelle Obama…
But NOT from his own father!
Michael Sam Sr. instead had some despicably harsh words for his son after hearing the news. He reportedly learned about Michael being gay after receiving a text message from him simply saying:

“Dad, I├óΓé¼Γäóm gay.├óΓé¼┬¥

Sam Sr. was eating at Denny’s when he received the message and admitted that he couldn’t finish his food. He told reporters:

“I couldn├óΓé¼Γäót eat no more, so I went to Applebee├óΓé¼Γäós to have drinks. I don├óΓé¼Γäót want my grandkids raised in that kind of environment.├óΓé¼┬¥

Bluuuugh!
His comments get worse though.
He continued spewing his ignorant viewpoints, saying that he’s, “old school,” and “a man and a woman kind of guy.” He even suggested that he would be uncomfortable seeing an openly gay player in the NFL, even if that player happens to be his own kid!
That just breaks our hearts.
Michael Sam led the SEC last season with 11.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss. He’s a football player, and a damn good one at that.
There’s no reason why he shouldn’t be drafted in the upcoming NFL draft.
And there’s no reason why a parent shouldn’t support such a fine young man, regardless of their sexuality!
We as ashamed of Michael Sam Sr. as we are PROUD of his son.
We hope you change your tune, sir. Because being on the wrong side of history is bad enough. But turning your back on family in the process is just about as bad as it gets!
