Formula One legend Michael Schumacher loves speed in any way he can get it — be it driving super fast, or flying down a mountain on skis. It’s just such a shame that it was the latter that put him in the hospital.
It was the recreational sport, not the dangerous one he does for a living, that put him in a coma.
According to new sources, he hit his head on a rock after falling 34 feet down a mountain. At 45 years old, he’s been in a coma since we first reported on it in December, which worries us that we haven’t been updated with a positive change yet.
The culprit that started the fall was a boulder partially hidden by snow. His injuries are life-threatening, but we really really hope he can pull through!
