Rise and shine, Mikey — your day is about to start much, much earlier!
According to reports, ABC is close inking another deal with newish TV personality Michael Strahan. They want Kelly Ripa‘s on-air partner to start appearing on their network’s 7 a.m. flagship morning news show, Good Morning America.
Live with Kelly & Michael fans shouldn’t freak out, however! The GMA studio is super close to his current one and the 42-year-old former football player is expected to continue co-hosting his show with Kel-Bells.
Also, Mike won’t be replacing any of GMA‘s current regulars — the show merely plans to feature him in certain segments.
The suits at ABC have been trying to finalize this move for months, but the deal looks to finally be done. Sources say the network might announce the good news later this week.
We think this could be a great move!
We love us some George Stephanopoulos, don’t get us wrong, but GMA was in desperate need of a sexy man-flesh injection, LOLz!! This addition should really boost ratings amongst desperate housewives and the like!
