Is the wait FINALLY over?
After all the guessing, rumors, innuendo, and speculation than we can fit into a 50 gallon trash bag, it looks like we might finally know who will take Regis Philbin’s place next to the beautifully sassy Kelly Ripa!
Drumroll please….
Ex-NFLer Michael Strahan, the former defensive end of the New York Giants!
Now, we knew he was impressive when he “auditioned” on Live with Kelly in June, but we never guessed he’d be a permanent fixture! In fact … we’re going to remain skeptical for just a little bit longer. Why? Well, there is a flag down on the play! (Sports talk! Who knew!)
Michael is already employed!! He’s an invaluable anchor on Fox NFL Sunday, a live sports show broadcast from El Lay!?
Would he really quit his job this close to football season?
Otherwise, NYC to El Lay is an awfully long commute! We can see soon enough!
