That’s right, folks! If you’re gay, Michele wants to turn you straight.
Presidential homophobe Michele Bachmann spoke up about her feelings regarding reparative/conversion therapy during a Love Won Out conference that she opened in 2004.
Here’s what she had to say about reparative therapy for gays at the time:
“I know that Love Won Out will present the truth about homosexuality and present it in a compassionate and loving manner.”
“Those of us working to safeguard marriage from redefinition by radical judges must inform our efforts with an understanding of the deep emotional wounds that many in the homosexual community carry. I look forward to welcoming Minnesotans and residents of surrounding states to hear the message of healing that is possible.”
And here’s what Bachmann has said about author Janet Boynes‘ book Called Out: A Former Lesbian’s Discovery of Freedom:
“Janet’s life is a powerful testimony of the changes that Christ can bring through His healing power from the bondage of sin.”
Wow. We are truly appalled by Bachmann’s views on homosexuality. She never ceases to disgust/disappoint us.
