So sweet!
Even though she’s easily the most distinguished actor to come from Dawson’s Creek, Michelle Williams hasn’t forgotten her roots!
Which we’re sure is part of the reason, that and nostalgia, why she brought her daughter Matilda down to her former show’s original set in Wilmington, North Carolina…
…Ten years after the show ended!!
Describing her trip down memory lane, Michelle said:
“I actually hadn’t been back since the show ended, but I went back and took my daughter on vacation and saw people I hadn’t seen in 10 years and went to all the places that we used to go. And it was great. It was actually a real stroke of luck to be transported there.”
Hold on, that’s not all Dawson’s Creek fans! Michelle also said she’d be down to reunite with her former cast members!
Here’s what she said:
“I’ve always said that I would really love to [reunite] and I think independently, we’ve all been saying that. So, at some point I hope that it does happen [as] . . . a way to honor the past and what a big deal it was for the four or five of us and what a big deal it was for the people who watched it.”
Maybe Matilda can join in on the fun, too!!
We sure hope something like that happens although the writers would have to get creative with things considering how the show ended.
Still, we could ALWAYS use more Dawson’s Creek in our lives!
