Our hearts go out to Mike Nichols‘ family and friends, especially his wife of 26 years, Diane Sawyer.
The legendary director, whose resume includes Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf and The Graduate, passed away Wednesday evening of an undisclosed cause.
Besides working in movies, Nichols co-founded the famed comedy troupe, Second City, and stage directed hits like Barefoot in the Park and Death of a Salesman.
Nichols is also one of the few people to have won an Emmy, a Tony, a Grammy and an Oscar.
Wow, how impressive.
We mourn this tremendous loss to the entertainment industry and send our thoughts to Diane during this difficult time.
