Milan Fashion Week Will Not Change For Wintour

It seems fashion houses are not going to have a repeat of the Fall 2010 Milan Fashion week earlier this year.

If you recall, it really all started when it was made public that Anna Wintour would only be attending for three days. That resulted in several top designers contacting Fashion Week officials to change their times.

However, next season, Milan’s top houses won’t have to face a three or four day Fashion Week.

Some designers have united, such as the houses of Armani and Prada, and will not accept anything less than a seven day event.

The houses have agreed to show their designs throughout the entire seven days.

Even Giorgio Armani commented that this sort of agreement demonstrates that Italians “are perfectly able to assert [them]selves without fear.”

Maybe next time they just shouldn’t invite Wintour? Hah! Just a suggestion.
