No matter what – this youngster will always have her daddy by her side!
Miley Cyrus‘ latest music video Wrecking Ball has been garnering a lot of criticism – and some of it has to due with the fact that she’s naked in it.
Her dad Billy Ray Cyrus released a statement that at one point said it wouldn’t have mattered what Miley was wearing, including a nun’s outfit, because the song was a total “smash!”
And that’s all that counts in the end!
Here is Billy Ray Cyrus’ full statement:
“I’m a song man. A musician singer songwriter who loves all styles of music. But again…I come from the old school where it starts with an artist and a song …colliding if you will … in a moment where the song, the singer, the producer, the band and the listener become one. It wouldn’t have mattered if Miley would have worn jeans and a flannel shirt …a Tux …or a nun’s habit. The song’s a smash …and her performance vocally on the tune reflects her roots and sheer God given talent.”
It’s clear from this statement that no matter what, Billy Ray will always be proud of his little girl!
…Which we can totally respect!
And we can also respect that he’s allowing his daughter to live her own life and make her own mistakes.
We think that’s the right way to do it!!!
