So no matter what, Miley Cyrus has won!
In her mind, it’s about the business of selling records and since she’s been such a twerker-bee at hyping her Bangerz up, she has successfully turned herself into the subject of every water-cooler conversation.
Recently interviewed about her growing fame, she was asked how it feels to “basically be the most famous woman in the world right now,” to which she replied:
“It feels pretty sick. Only because I have been gone for a few years, where I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót doing anything and I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót working. So now it feels like all that work in the studio did pay off. And I had so many times where I had to tell people like, ├óΓé¼┼ôYo, just trust me, I├óΓé¼Γäóm telling you with this ├óΓé¼╦£Can├óΓé¼Γäót Stop├óΓé¼Γäó video this is going make people watch├óΓé¼┬¥ or with ├óΓé¼╦£Wrecking Ball├óΓé¼Γäó saying, ├óΓé¼┼ôthis is going to make people go crazy.├óΓé¼┬¥ And once I did ├óΓé¼╦£Can├óΓé¼Γäót Stop├óΓé¼Γäó that├óΓé¼Γäós when people really started trusting me. At first on paper that video sounded insane, no one understood it and I├óΓé¼Γäóm just like, ├óΓé¼┼ôlet me film it and then if it doesn├óΓé¼Γäót work out you never have to trust me again but if it works out you have to let me drive this ship, you know I├óΓé¼Γäóm on to something.├óΓé¼┬¥ And then they call me and they├óΓé¼Γäóre like ├óΓé¼┼ôyo, you├óΓé¼Γäóre onto something!├óΓé¼┬¥ You know me and Rankin were talking about it. With magazines, with movies, it├óΓé¼Γäós always weird when things are targeted for young people yet they├óΓé¼Γäóre driven by people that are like 40 years too old. It can├óΓé¼Γäót be like this 70 year old Jewish man that doesn├óΓé¼Γäót leave his desk all day, telling me what the clubs want to hear. I├óΓé¼Γäóm going out, I know what they want to hear. I know when you├óΓé¼Γäóre in a club, what makes everyone go crazy and when the time is where everyone├óΓé¼Γäós like ├óΓé¼┼ôalright I├óΓé¼Γäóm going go get a drink├óΓé¼┬¥. I know when people walk off the dance floor and I know what├óΓé¼Γäós driving it so I├óΓé¼Γäóve got to be the one doing it because they├óΓé¼Γäóre just not in on what 20 year olds are doing.”
Damn! She is DETERMINED to keep the interview flowing in her own direction. She answers the question and then lets it flow into the real stuff she wants out there — that SHE’S the one running the ship.
We’d wonder how Sinead O’Connor feels about that, but nothing probably compares to her opinion on the subject, LOLz!!
