Dreams do come true!
For all of us AND for Miley Cyrus because gurlfriend got to rock the stage with a legend yesterday, THE Madonna!!!
We had revealed rumblings of a rumor that they were going to perform together for Mileybird’s MTV Unplugged special, and those rumors rumbled true!
The fierce ladiez DID pair up during a taping of the special to perform a ridic mashup of We Can’t Stop and Don’t Tell Me! Does it get any better than this?!
Well, yes, yes, it does. The ladiez not only performed together, but they both rocked super sparkly cowboy outfits fit for pop royalty! And Madge even got in on the Miley tongue wagging (above)!
We also hear there was some good ol’ fashioned bumpin’ and grindin’ going on, but would you really expect anything less from twerkin’ queen Miley?!
Miley said after taking the stage with the woman she’s happy to be compared to:
“That was pretty f–king cool, you guys. It sounds super-lame, but as a pop star it’s pretty cool performing with Madonna…Today was one of those days that it was really easy to get out of bed.”
Miley performed 11 songs in total, including Dolly Parton‘s Jolene, obvi one of her faves!
And if you’re worried about waiting to see this big show, fear not! The special will air TONIGHT at 9 p.m.
