Miley Cyrus Is Responsible For MTV's Good Ratings!

Well, this might be one the few times we’ve combined the words “Miley Cyrus” and “responsible” in the same sentence!
After the EMAs, MTV boasted about its 2 million page views on its digital and social platforms on the day of its EMAs, a 624% increase of social media mentions of the awards show, and a record global audience of 39.4 million!
While MTV was patting themselves on the back, they conspicuously forgot to mention the one person who is almost single (and foam)-handedly responsible for its huge stats: Miley!
MTV cut Miley out of its announcement about its “record-breaking response on MTV├óΓé¼Γäós digital and social platforms, marking this year├óΓé¼Γäós show as the best ever in network history for votes, visitors, video views and social media activity.├óΓé¼┬¥
Hmm this is just a stab in the dark here, but maybe MTV broke so many records because, oh, we don’t know, Miley smoked a doobie on-air in barely any clothing!
Now we know MTV removed the Mary Jane portion of the show for the US telecast, it still might be fitting to give her a little credit for the overwhelming success and buzz.
