We were all pretty blindsided back in June, when Liam Hemsworth asked Miley Cyrus to marry him, after three years of dating!
Now, in the September issue of Marie Claire, Miley’s opening up on just HOW Liam popped the question!
Supposedly, the romantic moment all went down at home and it came as a “complete surprise” to, well, pretty much the entire world!
Miley confessed that no one — not even her parents — knew about the proposal!
As for the 3.5 carat diamond ring from Neil Lane?? Liam clearly has good taste, seeing as he picked it out ALL by himself, with no input from his bride-to-be!
