The rules of the Ice Bucket Challenge are pretty simple: you get called out to either pour ice cold water over your head and donate $10 to ALS research or you DON’T pour ice cold water over your head and you donate $100 instead.
Somehow Miley Cyrus missed the part about the ice and added an “R” instead.
The 21-year-old pop singer shared a video of her and her brother Braison pouring a bucket of RICE over their heads!
That’s… not how this works, guys.
Clearly, Mileybird didn’t want to get wet but she DID make a point to say how important it was to give to this great cause.
She captioned her Instagram video:

While we think she sort of took the easy way out on this one, we’re at least happy to see Miley use her superstardom to promote something like this!
Of all the celebs, we’d think YOU would be most likely to be down for stripping down and getting wet, Miz Cyrus!
