But for Miley Cyrus, capturing Britney Spears‘ iconic speaking voice was all their collaboration was going to be about!
Mileybird recently opened up to Hunger TV to chat about SMS (Bangerz) and how it was working with Brit Brit. And she’s almost got Brit on as high of a pedestal as we have her!
So it’s not too shocking to hear that Mileybird wanted to capture the Britney we all grew up with and her sexalicious way of speaking for their song collab. She revealed:
“She├óΓé¼Γäós like an icon in that way and so I wanted to bring her back to that, I just kept telling her, ‘Britney you don├óΓé¼Γäót really realise actually how dope [you are]. People tell me I represent their childhood, for me you represent my entire childhood, like you were the soundtrack to my life.’ I want her to realise how really dope she is and how she├óΓé¼Γäós a living legend. You know when you├óΓé¼Γäóre 30 you don├óΓé¼Γäót realise what you are, I want her to take herself out of it and realise ‘I├óΓé¼Γäóm Britney Spears.’ So I wanted to celebrate that in the song, I wanted it to be like this is Britney, it├óΓé¼Γäós not even about her singing as much as it is her voice. She├óΓé¼Γäós got one of those speaking voices that as soon as she opens her mouth you know it├óΓé¼Γäós Britney Spears and I wanted it to be about that.”
Laugh if you want about the music not being about actual singing…but Brit’s speaking voice is HOT!!
No one can bring it like she does just saying a few words.
Bugatti? Maserati? Hot body? Those words MELT off Brit Brit’s tongue!
