All is well between Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour now! She’s even confirming it!
Fans know David and Millie played the father-daughter duo Hopper and Eleven, respectively, on Stranger Things. And like with any friendship or family on-screen and IRL, rifts can sometimes happen. As we previously reported, news broke during the final season of Stranger Things late last year that Millie accused David of harassment and bullying in a complaint with Netflix before filming. There aren’t many details about the claims, other than sources noting it did not involve any sexual misconduct. Neither David, Millie, nor Netflix got into exactly what happened at the time, either.

Lily Allen‘s ex finally broke his silence on the matter to Variety earlier this month, saying the timing of the news “came out in a weird way.” He continued:
“It’s a show that went on for 10 years. We worked together for 10 years during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter. I don’t know if people have families and friends that you spend a lot of time with for 10 years — you occasionally get in arguments [or] disagreements. In families, it’s OK because you’re just in a disagreement and then you come back together. The problem with a billion-dollar show is that there’s just hundreds of people who want to get involved.”
However, David insisted he and Millie worked things out:
“It was just a simple rupture-and-repair thing that, once we cleared everybody out of the way and talked to each other, we’re fine. Everyone nowadays is very scared of talking about things. People are very scared of being human. It’s unfortunate, because I don’t know how to navigate this weird media world. But it was completely normal, and we adore each other and always have.”
Proving they’re good now, the 51-year-old actor also teased they are “working on several” projects together:
“You’ll see more of me and Millie — 10 years wasn’t enough. There is a special bond there. I love her. She loves me.”
As for Millie? The 22-year-old actress addressed the feud drama for the first time during a live recording of the Happy Sad Confused podcast at 92nd Street Y in New York City on Wednesday, confirming they had mended fences! Phew! And without giving too much away, Millie also hinted that she and David have a “concrete” project in development:
“Father-daughter is where we live, but Netflix will always be our home. The David Harbour project is sooner than expected, and it’s David’s idea, so kudos to him.”
So expect a father-daughter movie or show starring them on Netflix soon! Got it!
The Enola Holmes star went on to share that she spent all of January reconnecting with her co-stars following the end of Stranger Things, and there is no more bad blood between her and anyone now:
“It was very hard for me. I would not have expected that coming off of the show. I’m a very happy-go-lucky person. They probably thought I was crazy. I was like, ‘We’re still friends, right? Like, you’re not gonna stop talking to me anymore?’ I was like, ‘I’m sorry if I ever upset you,’ and was just trying to mend anything. ‘It’s been 10 years, and I really want to be friends. You’re my sibling.'”
Let’s make sure the Stranger Things crew stays friends over the next decade, so they can give the fans a proper 10-year reunion with everyone happily involved! LOLz!
