The biz has not been kind to Miz Mariah Carey in the past year.
After two push backs and a dismal first release of a studio album last year, MiMi’s new remix album, Angels Advocate, has been cancelled only a month away from it’s release date.
A statement from Mariah’s people confirmed the news but didn’t give any reason as to why (though we can already assume what the reason is). However, they do insist that some of the tracks that were destined to be on the album will be released as singles for the fans to enjoy.
In the meantime, her reps say that Mariah is looking to the future and is in the early stages of constructing a brand new album, which may even be another Christmas album!
Her reps suggest:
“We are looking to go possibly to another studio album or Christmas album. The decision hasn’t been totally made yet. It’s a creative process that cannot be rushed.”
We don’t know if she will ever top All I Want For Christmas, though. Sure would love to hear her try!
What about U?
