Sad…we know Miranda Cosgrove is feeling the pain, but we’re glad she can be so candid about her loss.
The iCarly star’s poodle of 13 years, Pearl, passed away two weeks ago, and she speaks about her longtime friend.
Miranda states:
I never had anything die in my life before except a hamster.
She was a part of our family and because I was an only child, she was a really big part of my life. Every time I look back on a memory, she was there.
Miranda noticed her poodle’s behavioral changes when she first enrolled as a freshman at USC. Along with her mother, she took her pooch to vet where they found Pearl suffering from kidney failure.
Now that Pearl is gone, Miranda is still healing, but she hasn’t closed the door about another pet in the future.
She says the following:
I can’t think about getting another dog right away. I don’t want to feel like I’m trying to replace her. But I do love dogs
Pearl made the whole house feel different. Every time I’d come home she’d greet me.
She was the best. I miss her so much.
