Miranda Lambert Producing Semi-Autobiographical P.I. Series On Hubby's Network

From country rocker to television heartbreaker.
Miranda Lambert is joining her husband on the NBC network, but she won’t be sitting in any twirling chairs.
Instead the country star is producing a light drama which centers on a mother and father who are running a successful detective agency while also raising their two teenage children.
The concept is based on Lambert’s actual life growing up. After her father, Richard Lee ├óΓé¼┼ôRick├óΓé¼┬¥ Lambert, retired from the police force he formed a private detective agency with his wife. His wife and Miranda Lambert’s actual mom, Beverly ├óΓé¼┼ôBev├óΓé¼┬¥ June Lambert, will also serve as a consultant on the show.
Chad Hodge will be the head writer on the show. We hope this project, which reeks of awesome potential, will have more success than his previous venture into television – the notorious Playboy Club.
The deal was able to materialize partly because of Lambert’s husband Blake Shelton and his relationship with NBC.
Shelton is of course a celebrity presence on the mega popular The Voice.
It is unbelievable that two of the most talented and most influential country artists are also husband and wife, but we guess crazier things have happened in this ride called life. Like this.
Congratulations, Miranda.
Yee-haw!!!
