Mischa Barton is fighting back!
As we previously reported, The O.C. star has taken a stand against the ex who is trying to sell a sex tape of her to porn distributors. The first move Miz Barton made after finding this out was to take out a restraining order against two exes, Jon Zacharias and Adam Shaw, as one (or potentially both) of these men are responsible for the attempted sale.

Now, onto step two! Of course, the next stop the 31-year-old made was to Dr. Phil‘s show in order to tell her side of this controversial story.
While chatting with the TV doc, the Dancing With The Stars vet made one thing perfectly clear — she did NOT consent to being filmed during intercourse. In fact, according to Mischa, she has been the victim of emotional abuse for months.
In an exclusive obtained by TMZ, the former child star explained:
“It was a crime. It is a serious crime to tape people without their knowledge like that and I had made the mistake of putting myself in the situation with the person so I just removed myself as quickly as I could and then it just continued to be complete emotional abuse after that for the last several, several months.”
Poor thing. On how she discovered her ex was shopping around the revenge porn, Barton shared:
“Somebody came up to me on the street… and said there’s something I need to tell you and I didn’t believe it at first, I couldn’t believe it. Because I had loved this person and I didn’t think it was possible.”
Talk about a nightmare scenario. When Phil asked if the former flame was trying to blackmail her for money, the industry vet sadly noted:
“It wasn’t really a threat at the time it was obviously it was complete emotional blackmail.”
Oof. Hopefully, for Mischa’s sake, this sex tape NEVER sees the light of day.
