When you gather 20 of the country’s most beautiful women and put them in bikinis, chances are you’re going to get people talking!
And that’s exactly what happened this weekend during the Miss USA 2014 competition in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! (See who won, HERE!)
Rightfully so, the Twitterverse exploded as contestants showed off their amazing figures during the swimsuit portion of the competition, and one name that kept popping up was Miss Indiana Mekayla Diehl, who actually got a ton of praise for having a “normal” body!

While we definitely agree that Mekayla looks absolutely fabulous, we have to wonder is this really what an “average” body looks like??
Pageants such as this have always had critics who claim these competitions hold women to unrealistic standards of beauty, so it definitely makes sense that some people would be happy to see a contestant with a more “normal” body!
However, if you ask us, Mekayla is still pretty darn fit and we’re guessing she put a lot of work in to get into the fabulous shape she’s in!
