Former Miss USA, Rima Fakih, was pulled over back in December for boozin’ while cruisin’ and today, has reached a plea deal.
Fakih, the first Arab-American Miss USA, was caught with an open bottle of champagne when she was stopped in her Jaguar, driving erratically.
Rima pleaded no contest to driving while visibly impaired and is now facing a maximum of 93 days in jail during her sentencing next month.
Outside court in Detroit today, Fakih said:
“You learn, you pay your price for making mistakes and you move on. I’m very happy I can put this behind me.”
Well, we sure hope she really did learn from her mistakes!
