Well, this is certainly an inneresting switch-up!
Although Tom Cruise‘s latest Mission: Impossible film, Ghost Protocol, was originally scheduled to drop December 16th, Paramount has reportedly pushed its release back five days, to December 21st – the same day as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo!
Originally, it was supposed to go head to head with the Sherlock Holmes sequel on the 16th, but we imagine the studio bigwigs don’t want to risk competition with another PG-13 action movie, so are instead choosing to pit it against the much more adult-themed, R-rated Fincher flick!
Fair enough!
Personally, we’re psyched for all three!
