This is heartbreaking! August: Osage County actress Misty Upham has been missing for six days, and her family is fearing the worst.
The Spirit Award nominee was last seen by her dad on October 6th, and was spotted leaving her Auburn, Washington apartment on Sunday. Her father called the police to her apartment — the fourth time this year — for a suicide scare, but she was nowhere to be found.
Commander Steve Stocker explained:
“Our officers responded to her apartment where she lives with her parents on Sunday for a suicidal call. When our officers got there, she had already packed up some belongings and left the apartment, so the officers were not able to contact or find her├óΓé¼┬ª As far as the information we have, she took some things with her, she has a bus pass and even access to some money, and [the case] has been assigned to a detective, but we aren’t putting resources [to look for her].”
Stocker also added that Upham can’t be listed as a “missing and endangered person” because since she took her things with her, the disappearance isn’t “unexplainable, involuntary or suspicious.”

The actress’ father, Charles, is obviously heartbroken, and said in a statement that Misty has a “medical condition,” and that her medication recently changed, making her erratic. He added:
“I think that she is either in a place where she can’t get help ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ maybe she fell down and broke her leg and something, or she got in with the wrong crowd. I don’t think she would have taken her own life. I don’t want to think she is dead.”
