Mitch Winehouse Says Daughter Amy Was "Full Of Love"

We believe it.

Mitch Winehouse is still mourning the death of his daughter Amy, who passed away way too young at the age of 27.

Chatting with Piers Morgan on his CNN show, Mitch says he wish he could give her “a cuddle” if she were alive today because she was so “full of love.” He added:

“She had so many qualities and so many frailties, but she was a wonderful girl and a wonderful friend and all of the nonsense that was written about her over the last five or six years has all gone now.

Everybody is full of love and admiration for her, as she was. She was full of love, even for people who didn’t deserve it. I just wish she was here so we could give her a cuddle.”

Turning his grief into something positive, Mitch has set up a charity in Amy’s name, called The Amy Winehouse Foundation, which assists young people who are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. The launch of the foundation is set to go up September 14.

Good work, Mitch.

Amy would have been truly proud.
