Mitsubishi Thinks Bigger Is Better

Wow.

Mitsubishi has just unveiled their newest TV, a 92-inch, 135 pound set, which has become the largest mass-produced TV on the market.

With 16 speakers and 3D movie-playing capability, this looks like one impressive set…and given its massive size and features, it’s surprising that it’s going to cost somewhere in the vicinity of $5,000.

Here’s what Mitsubishi’s senior manager of brand marketing Nick Norton had to say about it:

“This is really the first time we’ve taken the complete 3D cinema experience and been able to bring it into people’s homes.”

SO cool! We’re thinking those 3-D Disney blu-rays should look pretty spectacular on this set.
