Report: Moammar Gadhafi Is Dead

According to Libya’s rebel government, the country’s flamboyant and tyrannical dictator Moammar Gadhafi has been killed.
The reports coming in suggests that the most wanted man in the world was “cornered by insurgents in the town of Sirte,” ironically his safest place to hide as most of his supporters reside in the area. His 42 years of terrorizing rule came to an end when the rebel fighters found and shot Gadhafi as they took the town after weeks of horrible fighting. Further reports suggest that there were celebrations in the streets in Tripoli upon the news of his death. There’s also apparently a cell phone photo of his bloodied body, but it has not been confirmed to be him.
However, neither the White House not NATO have confirmed the reports of The National Transition Council that he is dead. NATO did however report that its “jet fighters struck a convoy of Gadhafi’s loyalists fleeing Sirte this morning, but could not confirm that Gadhafi was in the convoy.”
