We wish the world record would be “the first country to turn around a bad economy in 24 hours” but we’ll take what we can get.
And what we get is: Michelle Obama wanting to help break the world record for the most people doing jumping jacks in a 24-hour period!
Still pretty cool that she wants to do this!
The first lady will lead hundreds of local children in doing one minute of jumping jacks on the South Lawn on Tuesday. The event will be reviewed by an official from Guinness World Records and will signal the beginning of a 24-hour challenge. To break the record, more than 20,000 people around the world will need to do jumping jacks for a minute.
Seems like a pretty easy record to break, to be honest! The hardest part is coordinating — the rest is just doing jumping jacks for sixty seconds.
Still, how many First Ladies have broken world records???
