A French modeling scout who has been accused of procuring people for Jeffrey Epstein has been found dead.
Daniel Siad, who was either 68 or 69, was found dead in his home in Colombes, west of Paris, on Monday, prosecutors told Agence France-Presse. At this time, his cause of death is unknown as authorities await autopsy results.

Daniel showed up in the Department of Justice‘s Epstein Files over 2,000 times. He and Epstein communicated for around 10 years — the last time coming just before Epstein’s 2019 death. At the time of his own death, the scout was being investigated in France over allegations he helped traffic women for the sex offender, accusations which he denied. He argued he had no clue Epstein “was dangerous.”
In February, ex-Swedish model Ebba Karlsson also accused the man of raping her when she was 20 and grooming her for Gerald Marie, the former chief of the Elite modeling agency, allegations both men denied. In May, another model named Juliette alleged Siad groomed her in 2004 when she was 21 before she was sent to NYC to see Epstein.
