Molly Sims is BEYOND thrilled as she awaits the birth of her first baby with husband Scott Stuber!!
The glowing mom-to-be shows off her baby bump on the June/July cover of FitPregnancy and dishes on her scary bout of food poisoning, mouth watering cravings, and the kinda mom she hopes to be!!!
Here’s are some of the HIGHlights of what the model mommy had to say:

On her pregnancy and nursery:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm seven months pregnant and feeling good for the most part. I├óΓé¼Γäóve had some back issues and got food poisoning a week ago. My doctor says pregnant women are more susceptible to bacteria. Besides that, I├óΓé¼Γäóm doing OK. I├óΓé¼Γäóm definitely slowing down. I├óΓé¼Γäóm also noticing the nesting instinct is starting to kick in. We├óΓé¼Γäóre getting the nursery together, and I├óΓé¼Γäóm trying to figure out what the baby needs without getting overwhelmed. For a first-time mom, it├óΓé¼Γäós hard to figure out what you will and won├óΓé¼Γäót really use. I am putting a bed in the nursery so I can breastfeed more easily at night, and a great glider.”
On making sure she eats a healthy diet:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm trying to be really healthy, and I├óΓé¼Γäóve switched to a mostly plant-based diet…I├óΓé¼Γäóm not a huge apple lover, but I just think about a chilled apple and my mouth starts watering. I also love fries and pizza├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ the carbs in both helped with my morning sickness early on.”
On exercising while pregnant:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóve been working with trainer Tracy Anderson (she├óΓé¼Γäós pregnant, too) and doing low-impact cardio, a band workout for my arms and some leg work. I├óΓé¼Γäóve had to adjust to being pregnant├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥today I was tired and did just 15 minutes├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and I├óΓé¼Γäóm wearing a belly brace for support. So far, my weight gain hasn├óΓé¼Γäót been too bad.”
On maternity style:
“I have an A Pea In The Pod stretchy camisole I love, and I have been living in my Splendid hot pink tie-dye skirt. I love anything really stretchy, especially pieces from Rachel Pally and Ella Moss. One thing I├óΓé¼Γäóve learned is that while you├óΓé¼Γäóre pregnant, if you wear tight-fitting clothes, you look thinner. At first everything felt really itchy, so I had to be picky. I also didn├óΓé¼Γäót want to spend too much on maternity clothes, so I bought just six skirts and six dresses. And, I splurged on a pair of silk pajamas.”
On the kind of mother she hopes to be:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to be very hands-on. I have three dogs (a white Lab and two Yorkies), and I am quite maternal and empathetic with my animals, so I can only imagine how I├óΓé¼Γäóll feel with my kids. I know I├óΓé¼Γäóll be really protective; even now I cover up my belly when I watch Law & Order so he can├óΓé¼Γäót hear it. My mom is my best friend now, but she wasn├óΓé¼Γäót when I was growing up. She let me tell her things without judging me├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥but she didn├óΓé¼Γäót want to be me or be my friend. It├óΓé¼Γäós important for your children to look up to you, and they need discipline.”

Ha! We think she’s hysterical! But she’s also totally right in saying that it’s important to be the person your children to look up to!!!
And we have no doubt her baby boy is going to do just that!
