The controversial tweet about Barron Trump sent out by since-suspended Saturday Night Live writer Katie Rich has seemingly split the Internet…
And Monica Lewinsky!
In case you missed it, the comedienne wrote the following on Donald Trump‘s Inauguration Day:
“Barron will be this country’s first homeschool shooter”
While many have condemned the “insensitive” joke made at the 10-year-old’s expense, Monica has come to Katie’s defense on Tuesday.

At the center of her own controversy herself in 1996, the former White House intern took to Twitter, writing:
online mobs are not the answer either. @katiemaryrich has apologized. comedy is an imperfect science. (trust me!) https://t.co/NraMK4mDKN

And it came only a day after she tweeted all kids should be “protected from bullying + mockery”:
all children need to be protected from bullying + mockery. (incl #barrontrump). let’s be better than this. https://t.co/CH3IfdpQpu

More than taking sides, it sounds like Lewinsky is taking a stand again bullying!
Do U agree with her??
