More Chuck E. Cheese Brilliance

Seriously, where is Chuck E. Cheese’s PR team?

The company has been getting a pretty bad rap over the past few years after several reports of violence, underage drinking, and theft have surfaced.

Just this week, another incident took place with a man punching a woman in the face after a confrontation at the photo booth.

But this time around, no violence took place, thankfully, though a clear example of bad parenting was displayed.

While at her son’s seventh birthday party at a Chuck E. Cheese in Indianapolis, a woman’s purse was stolen.

Though what makes it even worse, is that it was stolen by a little girl about 5-years-old! Even worse, the child’s parent was the one instructing the girl to steal it!!!

Mandie Harrington took her son and his friends to the “child-friendly” spot to celebrate his birthday, but then stepped away from her table to watch the kids play (bad idea) and left her valuables behind. Says Harrington:

“I’m much more offended that she had a little girl steal it than I am that it was stolen. I mean obviously I want my money and my camera back. It’s horrible that she taught a little girl that it was okay to steal.”

Thankfully, surveillance video caught the woman grabbing the purse from the kid and the two then running out the door.

Police are hoping they’ll soon be able to identify the suspect.

Key note, keep your purse and wallet with you at all times!
