More information is being released about the still unexplained homicide oof Mark Ruffalo‘s brother, who died as a result of gun violence late last year.
According to L.A. County Coroner spokesman Ed Winter, it turns out that Scott Ruffalo had “very slight” traces of cocaine, alcohol, and morphine in his system at the time of his death.
Winter says, “Ruffalo’s toxicology results showed a very slight trace of cocaine and alcohol. He also had slight traces of morphine which could’ve been due to prescription medication. All we can conclude from this is that he was not under the influence of drugs when he was shot due to the small amount.”
And there you have it.
Ruffalo was NOT high when he was shot to death last month. But, it does reveal a bit about what his habits were and what kind of people he may have been associating with.
Unfortunately, no other leads have been received.
Police are still investigating the death, though no new arrests have been made.
