Jennifer Affleck has something to say to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fans who don’t like her marriage!
In case you missed it, the reality star announced she and hubby Zac Affleck are expecting their third child. Check out the announcement (below):
The news shocked the fanbase, who got the impression she was leaving the toxic marriage, and got some very different news instead. She even faced backlash in the comments of her pregnancy announcement, with people writing things like “Babies don’t fix a marriage.”
You see, it was only months ago that fans believed the couple’s relationship was on the rocks after Zac and his family’s horrible treatment of Jen! Everyone wanted her to kick him to the curb because she deserved way better than a guy like him! And they seemed to be heading to splitsville for a while! She even fed into the divorce rumors!

But clearly they aren’t breaking up any time soon! In fact, Jen celebrated their sixth anniversary on Wednesday — and had a message for all their haters! Along with snapshots from their maternity shoot, the Hulu personality wrote on her Instagram Stories:
“Getting married at 20 and having three kids by 25 has taught us so much along the way. When we first met, there were so many obstacles preventing us from tying the knot. We came from two different worlds, had no life experience, no established careers and no plan. But one thing we knew for sure was that we loved each other. Despite moments of doubt, we always return to the reasons we got married in the first place.”
Although Jen and Zac have “faced so much together,” she wouldn’t change anything. Really? Even that infamous Chippendales fight? Hmm. She continued:
“We faced so much together, including identity crises, becoming young parents… starting med school and best of all, joining a reality TV show during one of the most sensitive, stressful and chaotic times in our lives. But honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. We’ve grown and learned so much.”
The content creator then addressed the critics of their marriage:
“While some may think I wasted my twenties, I feel quite the opposite. Now with our third baby on the way and still navigating so much, I know if we can get through the past year, we can handle anything. I used to fear failure, but now I see that each setback brings us closer to success. There’s still so much to learn – mistakes included – but as long as we’re progressing, that’s all I care about.”
So the marriage being terrible… proves how strong it is? Cool… It sounds like Jen has no regrets about marrying (or staying with) Zac!
